M.Sc. Research (students admitted in Winter 2011)
A $2,000 Admission Scholarship to all students admitted to the M.Sc. Research program.
Conditions of award:
- To be eligible for this scholarship, students must have been admitted by the official admission dates, have submitted a research project and be supervised by a professor.
- Students must be registered in a minimum of 9 course credits in the first two consecutive sessions of enrolment (the Summer session is optional) at the end of the designated period for withdrawal without academic penalty and without a refund (withdrawal X).
The scholarship is paid in two equal amounts in each of these sessions.
A $3,000 incentive award to students who submit their thesis in 24 months or less.
Conditions of award:
- An additional payment of $3,000 will be made to all students who submit their thesis within 24 months or less of their first registration in the program. Adequate time must be allowed for the director and committee members to evaluate the work.
- To be acceptable, the thesis must not require major revisions.
For purposes of awarding the incentive bonus, the date of the first registration in the program may be prior to the official date if some of the program courses were completed earlier as non-program studies, in another Université Laval program or at another university, etc.
