Why do a general program?
Versatility is a quality in great demand among managers. Knowledge of several disciplines is valuable in today’s work contexts, where multidisciplinarity is the rule not the exception.
By choosing this concentration…
- You will acquire knowledge of the fundamentals of operations and technology management, financial management, accounting, management information systems, human resources management and marketing.
- You will learn to monitor and evaluate company performance and determine the corrective action required.
- You will be able to develop goals and objectives that reflect the company’s financial, environmental, human, material and cyclical factors.
- You will develop the ability to determine or redefine organization structures and to coordinate their functions (production, distribution, etc.) and their economic and financial policies.

Please note! Before registering in your first concentration course, you must have completed at least 10 of the 15 core courses.
Twelve Laval BBA courses
You must choose 12 courses among those offered in the different BBA concentrations
At the end of your program, usually in the last semester, when you have completed at least 60 course credits, you must take the synthesis course ADM-3050 Gestion stratégique des organisations or its English equivalent ADM-3104 Strategic Management.
